The BCC Barons defeated the Walter Johnson Wildcats 13-1 on a chilly, windy Thursday. The Barons (6-3, 4-0) trailed 1-0 after one inning, but woke up in the bottom of the second, plating 6 runs on 4 hits. The Barons tacked on another 5 in the 3rd inning to blow the game open. Sophomore left fielder Rachel Kamis reached base safely three times scoring each time. Junior second baseman Rose Frank drove in three runs while junior right fielder Siobhan Brindle celebrated her birthday with a single and double. All nine Barons batters reached base safely at least once. Junior pitcher Kalin Condon overcame control issues in the first to finish the game with 6 strikeouts. The Barons look to make it four in a row when they head to crosstown rival Whitman on Saturday at 2:00.
