Seniors Lead B-CC Past Watkins Mill
B-CC Girls’ Lacrosse honored its six Senior players on a beautiful spring evening last Monday in Gaithersburg, then kept the celebration going by beating Watkins Mill,19-3. Saluted at “Senior Night” festivities were Baron Defenders Courtney Boyle, Abby Hopkins and Annie Namata; Midfielder Natalia Mobille; Attack Teagan Walsh; and Center Audrey Zantzinger. Fittingly, the class of 2018 led the night at nearly every position; Zantzinger had a season-high 12 points, with 5 goals and 7 assists; Mobille chipped in 2 goals and 1 assist, while Walsh added 1 goal and 1 assist. On the defensive end, Namata, Hopkins and Boyle together scooped up numerous ground balls, and recorded multiple take-aways for the Barons.

Others contributing points for B-CC: Junior Midfielder Lindsey Archer (4 goals, 1 assist); Freshman Attack Maggie Paterson (1 goal, 3 assists); Freshman Attack Lindsay Kramer (1 goal, 2 assists); Sophomore Attack Sydney Skalka (2 goals); Sophomore Midfielder Catherine Gaffney (2 goals); and Junior Attack Ardyn Kesterman (1 goal). Freshman goalie Tatiana Laguerre Ford had 6 saves.
