Barons Storm Northwood, 14-0
The Barons travelled to Northwood High School Friday, May 4th – “Senior Night” for the Gladiators. Northwood brought a large and spirited crowd, but the Barons were the more experienced team and had the upper hand all evening. Zantzinger was sharp at the draw, allowing the Barons to dominate possession and build a 14-0 lead at half. As the teams went to the break, rain and thunder rolled in, and the game was called due to weather. Team totals for the abbreviated game were: Zantzinger (3 goals, 2 assists ), Archer, (3 goals), Lucas (2 goals, 1 assist), Gaffney (2 goals ), French and Montoya-Cardenas (1 goal each). Adding one assist each were Mobille, Paterson and Kesterman. B-CC had 10 ground balls on the night, including 3 by Mobille.

The Barons finish the regular season with a 7-5 record, and open their playoff run with a Wheaton rematch, 7:30 pm Wednesday, at Blair High School in Silver Spring.
