The BCC Boys Tennis Barons continued their winning ways with a convincing victory over Walter Johnson 7-0. Fielding its first full starting lineup this season against the Wildcats, the Barons gave up only six games on the first three singles courts – Senior Pascal Lee (6-0, 6-3), Sophomore Zach Martel (6-2, 6-1), Senior Matt Dubrow (6-2, 6-0). On the fourth court, junior Channing Smith took the first set in a tiebreak (2), and prevailed in the second set 6-2.
At doubles, junior Garrick Adams and Senior Philip Gregory took the first court in a tightly-contested match 7-5, 6-3. Junior Garmani Thiem and freshman Eliot Lovinger commanded a 6-1, 6-4 victory on the second court. Senior Max Carmer and junior Andrew Cha cleaned up the doubles with a hard-fought 6-4, 6-3 on the third court.
