Multiple Teams · Bethesda-Chevy Chase Varsity Wrestling beats Clarksburg 34-25

BCC went ahead in the first match at 113 with a pin from Aidan Moffitt and never relinquished their lead.  Additional wins came from Justin Smith, Temuulen Tsedendorj, Eli Guttentag, Fabio Martinez, Timmy Kirlin, Rhys Cohen and Gabriel McAndrew.  Match of the night was at 145 where Jeo Martinez fought hard for the full six minutes against Clarksburg’s Nick Gonzalez (a County and Regional champion and state placer).  Jeo kept moving from bottom, securing several escapes and ultimately frustrating Gonzalez’s effort to secure a fall.  Next up, the team heads to West Virginia to face teams from Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia at the Musselman Duals.
