B-CC faced off against Churchill (state-ranked honorable mention) and Damascus (#12 in the state) over the weekend. The tri-meet started with B-CC versus Churchill. The match began at 120 where Estafanos Mekene pinned Dominic Susskind to give B-CC a 6-0 lead. The next match was a nail-biter as Lance Lorenzo went back and forth with Steven Wang, eventually losing the match in the ultimate tie-breaker when he was unable to escape. 6-3 was as close as Churchill would get as Aiden Moffitt, Fabio Martinez, Jeo Martinez, Drew Guttentag, Evan Wassmann, Emmanuel Oladapo, Nick Scott, Christian Simpson and Ike Guttentag would all win their matches to secure B-CC the win.
Next up was Damascus, a team that has not lost to another Montgomery County team in eight years. This fact and that B-CC had a chance to do it was clear from the start as tension in the gym was high, and both teams and the crowd were on their feet for much of the match.

120 – In the final match of the day, Ike Guttentag had to just stay off his back to secure the victory. He did better than that coming up with a second period pin against Shyler Clark.
Final score, B-CC 43 – Damascus 31.
