Don’t forget: Please get your forms submitted online for spring sports!  See below for instructions on how to submit forms online.  Our outdoor track and field informational meeting will be held on Thursday 2/14 at lunch in room C-108 (we changed this from Wed. 2/13).  We will discuss the season schedule, the tryout process, team requirements and expectations.  We look forward to seeing everyone next Thursday at the informational meeting!

For anyone looking to try-out for the outdoor track and field team (or any other spring sport), please take the time to submit your online forms early.  The portal is open for spring registration as of February 1st – so you can do this right now!  The spring sports season begins on March 1st.  Please be sure to have your forms completed by Wednesday February 27th to ensure they can be processed and approved in time for the start of tryouts.

A physical must be on file for the spring season and dated sometime after May 2018 to be valid for the entire spring season.  If you need an updated physical, please use this form with your doctor: https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/forms/pdf/SR-8.pdf

Once completed (make sure to get it signed and stamped), you can upload when you submit forms.  If you don’t have this at the time you submit forms, submit anyway and then you can drop a hard copy of this off with the Athletic Director, Dr. Considine, in the main office.

 

Once forms are submitted, be sure to check in with the spring sports coach for specific tryout dates, locations and times as each team is different.

 

Outdoor track and field tryouts will be as follows:

Friday March 1st: Tilden Middle School 12:45-2:15pm (this is a student half day) – shuttle provided both ways

Saturday March 2nd: Tilden Middle School 9-11am – no shuttle

Monday March 4th: Tilden Middle School 3:15-4:45pm – shuttle provided both ways

 

Attendance at tryouts each day is required.

 

There will be a preseason informational meeting on Thursday February 14th at lunch in room C-108.  The tryout process, team schedule, and expectations will be discussed and questions will be answered.
