With the regular season winding down, the BCC Barons turned in a dominant performance in this year’s penultimate game. A strong defense kept the Wheaton Knights at bay, while #págansarmy’s unrelenting offense made certain of their contest’s successful outcome.
Senior goalie Ellie Dura saved 86% of the shots that came her way.
Junior Audrey Zantzinger unselfishly distributed the ball, leading the team with 6 assists.
In all, ten different girls netted goals including juniors Natalia Mobille (1g) and Teagan Walsh (1g), sophomores Lindsey Archer (1g) and Ardyn Kesterman (1g), and freshmen Catherine Gaffney (1g) and Sydney Skalka (1g).
The girls’ final game before the county playoffs will be played up-county, at Watkins Mill Wednesday night (6:30P).
They then wait for the section seedings and the push into playoffs next week.
