What a morning! It’s not often that the collective energy from the group, the attitude as a whole, and the performances across the board meet the expectations that we’ve set for ourselves. Today we stressed the importance of creating momentum and building confidence heading into the final three weeks of our season. We walked out of the meet with two new team records and swam at or better than our LIFETIME bests in at least one of their events from EACH AND EVERY ATHLETE. Our divers far exceeded anything they’ve done on the boards this season and looked amazing against some of the areas toughest competition. All together we finished 3rd on both sides (combined 2nd overall behind Churchill) and out performed our seeded projection by 47 points on the girls side and 39 points on the boys side, easily the most of any team. As I said post-meet to the team, be proud to wear the Baron logo today. If today is just scratching the surface I can’t wait to see where the next three weeks takes us. GO B-CC!!!!!
