The Quicken Loans National: A staple of Washington, D.C.’s must-attend sporting events. As a TGR Live-managed event, all proceeds from the Quicken Loans National benefit the college access programs of the Tiger Woods Foundation. In addition, TGR Live and the Quicken Loans National have been leaders in the community in military appreciation, offering numerous programs and activities which support military members and their families. Between the Lockheed Martin Military Pavilion, the heroes tribute wall, military caddies, starters and announcers, the Quicken Loans National has endless opportunities to honor those who have served and their families.

Volunteers are critical to the success of the Quicken Loans National. From manning Shotlink lasers to working in the admissions booth, there are more than 20 committees to choose from!

Each volunteer will receive the Quicken Loans National volunteer package, which contains:

  • One (1) official volunteer Nike golf shirt
  • One (1) official volunteer Nike hat
  • Volunteer badge (good all week; even on days you are not working)
  • Five (5) volunteer guest tickets (good any one day, Wednesday-Sunday)
  • Volunteer parking pass (good all week)
  • Complimentary food and beverage on the days you are scheduled to work

History

The Quicken Loans National will be held at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farms for this first time in 2017. The National was first contested at Congressional Country Club in 2007 when K.J. Choi was crowned champion. The tournament remained at Congressional until 2010 and 2011 when it moved to Aronimink Golf Club near Philadelphia. After returning to Congressional in 2012 the National was played at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Prince William County, Virginia, in 2015. The Quicken Loans National will be played at Congressional Country Club in 2018 and 2020.
