Irvin scored 7 of B-CC’s 11 points in the first quarter to lead the Barons. Despite the deficit, the Barons battled back and took their first lead of the game late in the 2nd quarter, at 22-20, on a layup by Cameron off a nice dish by junior Miles English. Geovanny nailed a corner three in the final minute of the half to put B-CC ahead 27-20, but Churchill narrowed the Barons lead to 27-23 at half-time.

The teams battled back and forth throughout the 4th quarter, but the Barons never let Churchill get closer than 6 points. Miles and junior Gordon Gibson scored consecutive baskets inside to put B-CC ahead 59-50 with just under 3 minutes left to play, and B-CC closed out the game at the free throw line in the game’s final minutes to secure the hard fought victory.

Cameron led a balanced B-CC scoring attack with 16 points, putting him over 700 points for his career and into 12th place on B-CC’s all-time scoring list.
