Game Recap

B-CC won its 3rd consecutive game and improved to 7-8 on the season following a 69-46 win over Wheaton.

The Barons took a 26-21 lead into half-time but went on an 8-0 run to start the 3rd quarter to blow the game wide open. A 3-pointer by junior Thomas Baer put B-CC ahead by 16 points mid-way through the 3rd quarter, and 2 free throws by senior Cameron Galic moments later gave the Barons their first 20-point lead of the night. Senior Irvin Torres scored all 9 of his points in the 4th quarter for B-CC, including a 3-pointer from the top of the key that extended the Barons lead to 24 points late in the game. The Barons went on to win by a final score of 69-46.

Cameron led the Barons with 20 points, followed by 9 points each from Irvin and senior Geovanny Caceras. Thomas added 8 points and senior Nate Ferguson contributed 7, all in the 2nd half. Sophomore Toussaint Paris-Grant chipped in 5 points, junior Miles English added 4, and juniors Gordon Gibson, Malik Raheem and Ben Friedman each added a bucket for B-CC. Senior Kai Elwood-Dieu added a free throw to round out the Barons scoring on the evening.

Game note: During the first quarter, senior Cameron Galic scored his 629th career point for B-CC, which moves him ahead of current Barons assistant coach Brandon Howell and into 14th place all-time on the Barons career scoring list!

Next up for B-CC is a road match-up against rival Whitman on Friday. Game time is 5:30pm.
