Game Recap

The JV Barons continued their hot streak this season with a 60-40 victory against the Wheaton Knights. The Barons (13-0) struggled in the first half, shooting only 32% from the floor while committing 8 turnovers. Leading by 8 at the half, the Barons came out determined to start the 3rd quarter, stretching the lead to as many as 23 in the fourth quarter. Sophomore Kevin McAuliffe missed a double-double by a single rebound, going for a team-high 16 points and 9 rebounds. Freshman Joe Jepsen added 14 points on 60% shooting from the field. Camilo Baccolo-Oudet did a little of everything, chipping in with 4 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 4 steals. In extended minutes, sophomore Yanick Nde tallied a season-high 6 points. As a team, the Barons controlled the lane, posting an impressive 9 blocks. The Barons return to BCC for their home finale on Friday against crosstown rivals Whitman.
